Welcome to TTH!

Welcome to TTH!

Welcome to The Tiny Hearth!  Pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee, and settle in while I tell you a little bit about myself!

I’m Fae Moon, and I run all things TTH, both online and off.  My husband, and the love of my life, Draco, is the main man and bread-winner around here, but even he will tell you, it’s me that keeps things running smoothly in his life.

First and foremost, I am a wife, mother and soon to be grandmother.  I have a brood of those whom I consider my “adopted children” plus an extended family from my mother’s fourth husband (my first step-dad) that I love with all my heart.  They all make up what I consider my family, and you’ll hear about them all from time to time.

In addition to being the matriarch of my little family, I also blog, fully manage our household as well as our fledgeling business Tiny Hearth Shoppe, and I’m an occasional World of Warcraft addict to boot.

I know what you’re thinking.  You’re asking yourself “When does she sleep??”  The answer to that question, is rarely, and usually only a few hours at a time.

Within the next month, Draco and I will be moving out of where we currently live with some of our “adopted children” and into a thirty year old, twenty-eight foot camper.  Hence, The Tiny Hearth.

The decision to make this move was one we’ve considered for years, for a number of reasons, and you can read about some of them here, but mostly, it just seems like the right thing for us at the right time.

On this blog, you’ll find a lot of different things, since I consider myself a “life blogger”.  You’ll see posts about my family, my home, my life – past and present, my spirituality, recipes and much more.

I blog about just about everything to do with who and what I am and the life experiences that make and shape who I’m becoming.

I believe that life is a journey, not a destination, and when I’m gone, one of the things I’d like for the world to remember best about me is that I lived my life to its fullest, filled with love, laughter and good food.

I hope you enjoy your time here with us at The Tiny Hearth, and I hope you’ll choose to return again and again to see what we’re up to.  While you’re here, stop and say hi on one of my posts and give me a chance to get to know you in return.
